I can show you a picture of our christmas tree unfortunately not before christmas Eve on december 24 , because it is a old tradition of our family( and in many other families in Germany too) to decorate the christmas tree just on the last evening before christmas Eve.

that is such a cute tradition to wait until Christmas eve-- although I like that I get to enjoy my tree for more than a month. that is a lot of trouble for such a short time.

I'm glad they made it there. I don't have to comment anonymously now!Funny story, my husband actually picked out the pretty bird ornament! :) The Mrs. Claus playing a slot machine was just for fun, to represent where I live - a city with many casinos, lots of slot machines! Kind of like a mini-Las Vegas, but not as cool.
