" A short trip ... / Kurzausflug ... "

Gestern waren wir zu einem kleinen Ausflug entlang der Nordseeküste zwischen Bremerhaven und Cuxhaven. Das Wetter war zwar wechselhaft,aber das hat uns nicht abgeschreckt auf Fahrt zu gehen. Zuerst waren wir in Cuxhaven an der "Alten Liebe". Das ist eine kleine Seebrücke mit Blick auf die Nordsee.Ich liebe ja die See und kann davon nie genug haben... Danach ging´s nach Bremerhaven .Dort waren wir im "Columbus-Center" ein bisschen shopping,was besonders Anne und Nathalie gut gefiel. Da es regnete war das schon die beste Alternative. Später ging´s langsam wieder zurück nach Hause. Unterwegs kamen wir noch an einen wunderschönen Sonnenblumenfeld bei Wremen vorbei ,sahen einen fantastischen Regenbogen und fuhren dann von Wischhafen nach Glücksstadt mit der Autofähre über die Elbe. Mit der Elbfähre erspart man sich die Fahrt durch den Elbtunnel (Autobahn) nach Hamburg und kann zudem auf der Fähre relaxen(für ca. 25 min.) und die schöne Landschaft genießen. Somit ging dann ein anstrengender aber schöner Kurzausflug zu Ende.

Yesterday we were to a short trip around the coast on the North Sea between Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven. The weather was nice but it changed often between rain and sun .But that´s not bad. Our first stop was in the town Cuxhaven on the North Sea. In Cuxhaven you have a beautiful sea bridge ( view point to the sea) with the name "Old Love". There you have a wonderful view to the Sea. On the North Sea are the tides you know and that´s why there we seen only few water for some hours .From Cuxhaven we drived to our next stop to the town Bremerhaven. There was rain and that´s why we were shopping in the "Columbus-Shopping-Mall".Anne and Nathalie were happy about it...After some hours there we drived return to home. On the way we seen still some nice things - a wonderful meadow with sunflowers ,a fantastic rainbow and much more... In Wischhafen we used the ferry over the river Elbe to Gluecksstadt.The ferry need only 25 minutes but you can use the time to relax and enjoy the nice nature on the Elbe. Normaly you must drive over the Elbe( Elbtunnel) to Hamburg over a big highway with often much traffic jam.It was a exciting but nice short trip.
