A further cold week in Germany is going slow to end ... !
It was bitter cold again with temperatures till -15 degree in the morning ...But we saw finally a little bit of sun and a wonderful sunset .You can see it on my pics.On the Elbe you can see ice and ice floes. And also the lakes are frozen with a thick coat of ice.
The Außenalster was at last frozen 13 years ago in year 1997.

Now somebody like me can't really comprehend how a river like that can freeze. It just doesn't get anywhere that cold over here.
