Happy Skywatch Friday everyone !
Here are my photos of skies of this week . Today I like show you some impressions of the
" Sail 2010 " in Bremerhaven.My husband and his collegues were there for a day trip yesterday.
The "Sail 2010" is the International Festival of Tall Ships from the 25th to the 29th of August 2010. There you can see and visiting the famous German Segelschulschiff " Gorch Fock " of the German Navy .
The weather was a little bit stormy but you can see nice skies!

Thank you for the views, I know Bremerhafen quite well, especially the old dock area and the Schiffahrtsmuseum.

Beautiful Steffi! I love tall ships...I used to love watching them come into the river in Philadelphia, Pa, when I was young.

Eine ganz tolle Collage! Sie erinnert mich an die Flensburg Nautics, da war die Gorch Fock auch. Nun ist sie ja leider über ein Jahr lang unterwegs.

Hi steffi I love these old ships. We went to sail Amsterdam long time ago and you were allowed to go on some of the boats. That was magnificent

The skies may be cloudy and forbidding..but the Tall Ships saved the day..great captures

I am a real fan of the old sailing vessels..I once went out on a day cruise on a 3 masted scooner out from Mystic Conn.
The ships are amazing! Beautiful photos.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be at the sea right now? :)
