Here are now my Skywatch Friday pictures of this week . During the last few days of this week we had here only grey sky and cold temperatures .Really frustrating weather!

That first with the trees barren and silhouetted and the crescent moon peeking from amidst the branches creates a daunting look. Very well captured! Great collection!
The shot with the moon and trees is really pretty. I love the color of the sky in that one. The ice on the Elbe is amazing!
Pretty grim looking sky that day! Except for the night shots that is. Nice job on the moon, that's a tricky one to get!

I was supposed to go to Germany next month for a tourism exhibit called Sud Afrika Tage, but due to budget constraints my boss has informed me that he will be going and I have to stay home. Hamburg would have been the last stop and I was looking forward to it.
I will have to pop into your blog to get my Hamburg fix.

Very beautiful photos. I like the second one best.
I didn't think you got that cold that ice formed on your rivers. Here, we definitely get frozen rivers. It was -34˚C this morning and I don't think it got above -20˚C.
Love the half moon peeping through the trees. Looks like you have been having some pretty cold weather.
