I've seen snow only once in my life. It was during last year's christmas when I was in the UK. I live on a tropical island, so there's no snow. I had hoped for a white Christmas but well, you're not given everything. But then, one day, it snowed. I went out, in my night clothes and well, just admired everything. I would have liked to be in your place. Your garden's beautiful.

We don't have any snow left from the snow we got over a week ago. Just a few spots where the sun hasn't melted it. Doesn't look like you got much. Hope your flowers survive to give you more enjoyment of them.
Oooohhh Schnee haben wir noch nicht abbekommen,obwohl wir südlich wohnen.Kalt ist es schon ziemlich,bibber,bibber,aber Schnee ist leider noch nicht in Sicht.Würde mir ja wünschen,das dieses JAhr an Weihnachten mal Schnee ist,das wäre doch toll. GLG Anja

That first picture is quite beautiful, the fragility of a rose encased in snow. We are still at least a few weeks away from the snow.
Wonderful photos. I know the feeling. We currently don't have snow on the ground. Today it got up to 7°C here, and tomorrow it is to be the same.

I love snow, especially around Christmas. But when we get more than a foot-well then I'm not so crazy about it.

It's almost summer here - so I really enjoyed the shot of the snow-covered rose.
Are those hydrangeas in the third picture? Ours are just cominginto bloom here.
In the next day or two I'll be posting a series of shots showing how a rose actually opens up ...
