Sunflower / Sonnenblume

Today morning I saw already in our garden that our first sunflower is blooming.I was really surprised because normally our sunflowers bloom in September or October every year in our garden. But it´s really beautiful to see. I like sunflowers very much! Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers. It´s nice to see when in autumn the birds sitting on the sunflowers and eat the sunflower cores.

Wow, the sunflower is early - it must be due to the high temperatures - and is always a welcome sight to see!!

Great photos

Those are really beautiful sunflowers! I've been trying to grow some in pots, but they don't take too well to their limited environment. Some flying pests (white fluffy things - don't know what they're called) settled in, and now all four of my sunflower plants are dead. *sob*

Congratulations, though. Your flowers are really pretty.

Sunflowers already? Wow. We don't usually grow them here. Not hot enough and too short a growing season.
