It was a really excited day there.Nathalie was back at home on the evening and really tired but happy.

Today was here the last school day before 6 weeks summer schoolholidays now and they have got their reports today.Anne and Nathalie´s results are good. !Yippie!!!The new school year start here on 23th August again.

Gestern hat Nathalie´s Schule einen Schulausflug in den "Filmpark" Potsdam-Babelsberg unternommen. Mit einigen Bussen ging es dann am frühen Morgen von der Schule aus auf große Fahrt. Nach über 3 stündiger Busfahrt kamen alle im Filmpark an und dann besichtigten alle viele verschiedene Attraktionen. So konnten sie,z.B. die original Drehorte der beliebten Daily soap "Gute Zeiten - Schlechte Zeiten" besichtigen.Leider war dort kein filmen oder knipsen erlaubt. Weiterhin sahen sie auch das Produktionsgelände des "Sandmännchens" und "Kleinen Königes" sowie "Janosch". Ein weiteres Highlight war Z.B. auch die "Stunt-Show".
Am späten Abend trafen alle ,nach einem anstrengenden aber erlebnisreichen Tag ,wieder hier ein und waren erstmal richtig müde. Nathalie hat es im Filmpark richtig gut gefallen.

Heute war hier der letzte Schultag vor den Sommerferien und es gab die Zeugnisse. Anne und Nathalie´s Zeugnisse sind recht gut ausgefallen. Nun ist erstmal für die Beiden in den nächsten 6 Wochen Erholung angesagt damit sie am 23.August wieder gut erholt das neue Schuljahr beginnen können.

Da wünsch ich den beiden schöne Ferien. Langes ausschlafen rumlümmeln und viel Spaß in den nächsten Wochen. Und vor allem viel besseres Wetter für die nächsten 6 Wochen.

only 6 weeks? in America, the kids get almost 3 months off. from the last of may until the last of august.

Wow, sounds awesome. I love places where you can see different things like that. Today we are going to the old fort in town with the cousins. Summer break is the best. I bet she is excited for that.

My kids have been off for a couple of weeks already and go back the beginning of September. So interesting to hear what schools in different parts of the world do. Glad to hear the reports were good and hope everyone has a great 6 weeks off.
