Fun Monday # 11

That´s my vintage item of clothes. It´s my oldest and one of my favourite T-Shirts. I bought as in year 1990 short time after the birth of my eldest daughter Anne. Anne was born on december 31th ,1989. I used it as I was my second time pregnant with Nathalie. This T-shirt I used on the day of Nathalie´s birth in the hospital too. She is born on december 12 th, 1995. Now is this T-shirt only still in my cabinet and I don´t use it . It remain still in good memory to nice moments and events in my life.
Well, that´s my story of my vintage item of clothes.Sorry for my terrible english .... I hope you know what I mean. More you can see at Chris B. blog here: http://mscellania.blogspot.com/ .

Steffi I can still remember the t-shirt I wore when giving birth.

I think your English is brilliant, you will never hear my German, Ich haber hunger (I'm hungry) and das speigelei (fried egg?), are all I remember and I'm sure I've got the spelling wrong.

Have you ever considered having it framed? Perhaps in a shadowbox?? I hope this translates, if not, let me know and I'll try to explain.

Precious memories :).

I wish I had kept the clothes I gave birth in. What a great memory for that t-shirt.

This is really a nice story and guess what? Yes, I still save the shirt that I wore when I gave birth to Emilie.

Yes, those things that are associated with our babies are precious, indeed!

Your English is beautiful, by the way.

First Steffi I think your english is great! I wish I could remember more of what I learned in 3 years of German in high school but mostly I remember how to count and a few others. Madison picks up words like crazy so she can count to 10 in English, Spanish, German and Korean.
I like the shirt and what memories it carries for you. I am still working on my post for todays fun monday also but it will probably be up later this evening, my time of course.

Yes, I have a couple of shirts like that. Memory items. :) My husband does, too.

My wife was more concerned about getting to the hospital than getting into her favourite clothes to give birth. Mind you, she still has her wedding dress. ME? I had some old concert t-shirts I got from the early 80's. I think they ended up in the rag box...

Hallo Steffi
