Ich möchte ein wenig das Geheimnis um mein neues Projekt lüften,da ich eure Hilfe brauche! Ich möchte das Monster - Bodenkissen nach einem Schnitt von Amy Butler nähen.Das hatte ich mir schon lange vorgenommen und nun bin ich voll dabei. Für dieses Kissen benötige ich Unmengen an Füllmaterial . Hat jemand eine Idee woher man günstig Füllmaterial bekommen kann ? Ich dachte erst an Bastelwatte,aber dieses Kissen verschlingt wahrscheinlich säckeweise diese kleinen Wattebeutelchen und würde ein teures Designerkissen daraus machen,welches niemals benutzt werden dürfte oder nur an Sonn-und Feiertagen ;O) !Wäre echt für jeden Tipp dankbar!_______________________________________________________
Here is a small look at my new project now. I would like to ventilate a little bit the secret because I need your help. I sew a big monster - pillow and I use for it a Amy Butler pattern "Big nap pillow". Now my question : What can I take as filling material for the pillow ?? I know I need a lot of it and it must have a cheap price -but it becomes an expensive designer pillow which we can use only on especially days like on sundays or holidays ;O) !Thank you very much !

bei ebay gibt es viele Anbieter, die zum einem diese Styroporkügelchen anbieten zum anderen aber Füllungen für z.B.Stillkissen.Wichtig ist das du auf das Porto achtest. Es gibt in einigen Baumärkten auch einen Dämmstoff der aus einer Art Flocken ist, der soll sich auch gut eignen.

Hab ich mir dann doch noch gedacht, dass es ein Kissen wird. Schau mal bei lockstoff.blogspot.com/. Corinna hat auch so ein Kissen genäht und mit diesen Kügelchen gefüllt.

wie wär es mit Schaumstoffabfälllen? Bei uns gibt es die im Schaumstofflager, die sind leicht, klein und günstig.

Ich habe bereits einmal für eine Freundin eine Füllung bei www.sitzsack.de bestellt. Dieses Zeugs ist genial. Es sind Qithan Schaumstoff-Flocken und die sind herrlich, viel schöner als diese Styropor-Kügelchen, die knistern auch nicht so. Das ist natürlich alles eine Frage des Preises.

Hi Steffi! You can use leftover foam pieces from stores that sell beds and bed foam. I think they give this out for free, or sell them really cheap. You can also use those elbow macaroni-shaped styrofoam pieces that the post-office or mail centers (courier) use to pack into boxes with fragile items. They might be giving this away free.
My mother uses old torn stockings/pantyhose (nylons) that she saves until she has enough to stuff pillows with. Really comfy!
One of my colleagues at work saves the empty foil packs of her kids' potato chip bags, cuts them into strips and stuffs them into pillows.

Das wird ein schönes Kissen, ich hatte ja an eine Decke gedacht. Viel zu schade für den Boden zum lümmeln.
Mit dem Füllmaterial kann ich dir leider nicht helfen.
